Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon in Bristol

Our client, an RCVS accredited veterinary practice in Bristol, is seeking a passionate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced vet to contribute to providing exceptional care in a busy urban community practice. As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and building strong relationships with clients and their pets. You will work alongside a supportive team, contributing to the practice's reputation for excellence in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent clinical care to patients through consulting, surgery, and medical work-ups
• Contribute to the Saturday rota from 9am-4pm
• Take on sole charge accountabilities as required
• Engage in professional development and case discussions
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy first opinion veterinary practice
• Confidence in consulting, surgery, and medical work-ups
• Passion for providing high-quality care to small animals
• Openness to developing new skills and ideas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• RCVS registration
