About The Organisation:

We are working on behalf of a leading global manufacturer that is well established, trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands, and in need of a People Director who will have a pivotal role in shaping and executing the people strategy across a global workforce.


Here’s how you’ll make an impact:


  • Lead the People Strategy: You'll develop and execute a people strategy that aligns with the global growth objectives, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent. You’ll oversee recruitment, retention, learning, and development initiatives, ensuring we build a high-performing workforce across all regions.
  • Cultural Leadership: You’ll be responsible for driving a culture that embodies engagement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Talent Management: You’ll build and oversee the implementation of talent management processes that identify and nurture future leaders. You'll lead succession planning and foster leadership development at all levels, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Organisational Development: You’ll work closely with the board and senior leadership team to design effective organisational structures and development strategies that support the long-term business goals. You’ll also lead change management initiatives that ensure smooth transitions during periods of rapid growth.
  • HR Service Excellence: You will ensure that HR services are customer-focused, lean, and fit for purpose. From employee relations to workforce planning, you’ll lead a professional HR function that supports all areas of the business, contributing to overall efficiency and success.
  • Employee Engagement: You'll spearhead initiatives to increase employee engagement, including staff surveys, feedback mechanisms, and well-being programmes. Your efforts will help cultivate a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated to perform at their best.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: You’ll lead our diversity and inclusion agenda, ensuring that our policies and practices promote equality of opportunity and a diverse workforce that enriches our organisation.


What We're Looking For:


  • Extensive HR Leadership Experience: You have significant experience at Director or senior leadership level in Human Resources, with a proven track record of building and executing people strategies that drive success within rapid growth environments.
  • Global Mindset, Progressive Approach: You will have experience working in multinational environments, but you understand how to move at pace and get stuck in. You'll be able to balance a unified global people strategy with local flexibility and navigate the complexities of managing international teams.
  • Deep HR Expertise: You possess expert knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organisational development. You’ve led large-scale initiatives around workforce planning and retention, as well as complex employee relations issues.
  • Change Management Expert: You have experience leading large, complex change programmes, from organisational restructuring to cultural transformation. You’re comfortable challenging conventional approaches and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Thinker: You can think big-picture and long-term, aligning people strategies with business goals. You’ve worked with senior leadership teams and boards, providing sound advice and influencing strategic decisions.
