Mechanical Design Engineer

The Role

A Mechanical Design Engineer at PCE Automation designs innovative and progressive automation machinery, as part of a dynamic and growing design team. Working alongside engineers and other industry professionals, to conceptualise, develop and enhance these solutions, whilst also contributing to the evolution of our processes.

The following list is an indication of the skills that the successful candidate will possess, in fulfilment of the position:

• Mechanical design/engineering experience within the automation industry.
• A minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Highly proficient in 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) with experience designing for manufacture.
• Previous experience using Solidworks PDM or similar would be advantageous.
