Responsibilities

• Ensure that care plans are progressed and completed.

• Allocation of a child or young person to follow the completion of care proceedings and a set plan .

• Work alongside Resources Workers to complete Life Story work as well as when facilitating and supervising family time

• Help children and young people understand their experiences and reasons for being in care.

• Advocate for time with family members when it is safe to do so.

• Be understanding and supportive of children and young people's journeys.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent

• Registered with Social Work England

• Experience in a similar setting working with children and families
