Lead Senior Corporate Solicitor/Director/Partner, £110 - £140k + bonus & equity. Maidstone/ Hybrid working.

My client is a progressive firm ranked in the Legal 500 for Corporate Commercial, who offer a unique model incorporating Legal and Business consultancy services. They are a growing business and are always looking for a better way to achieve success for their clients. They receive a notable amount of repeat business, particularly with smaller transactions of circa £5 -25 million in value, and are looking for someone to take the lead in their successful Corporate division, managing a team of 6 people.

The role:

• Generating income from corporate deals with current clients as well as referrals from within the larger group.
• Growing the division by generating new business.
• Manage people in the team
• Day to day operations management of the division.
• Budget management for the division.
• Provide general counsel to their Private Equity owners, including on their variety of acquisitions and investments.
• Business development focusing on sourcing new clients and deals.

Requirements:

• Senior Corporate Solicitor or Director/Partner who has experience leading on transactions (including private equity backed mergers and acquisitions) and experience managing a team.
• Experienced working with a mix of clients and corporate transactions.
• Dynamic individual who truly enjoys the thrill of bringing in new deals by networking and developing new business relationships. A following is not required but must be able to show evidence of successful business development and the acquisition of new deals.
• Entrepreneurial approach.
