Job Requirements/Description
The Software Product Manager oversees the management of one or more software products, covering areas such as market research, product strategy, pricing, forecasting, and promotion throughout the product lifecycle. In this role, you'll lead communication with product owners and technical leaders to ensure the timely delivery of valuable software features. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with business teams to drive the success of product development initiatives. Duties: The Software Product Manager will be responsible for all Software and Remote Monitoring products. Collaborate with the software product management team and technical leadership to create short- and long-term roadmaps that align with market demands and the company's strategic objectives. Develop and maintain high-level product goals, ensuring clear communication of concepts to product owners and engineering leadership to enhance development efficiency. Propose pricing strategies and policies informed by market research and competitive analysis. Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends to support the creation of innovative software features that boost market presence. Drive product enhancements based on stakeholder input, customer feedback, and evolving market requirements. Deliver presentations across different organizational levels to ensure awareness, provide training when needed, and engage external partners and customers. Collaborate with key business units (Engineering, Support, Sales) to achieve business objectives, roll out product training, and execute distribution plans. What's required? 5+ years of experience in Software or Remote Monitoring, particularly within the Water Industry Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field required; although practical experience is more important Experience with cloud services and cybersecurity practices preferred Comfortable with software product management and/or development tools and knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development preferred
