Project Planner

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Planner. A main contractor with a strong portfolio of large, multistorey building projects is rapidly expanding and looking for a professional who can contribute to continued success by ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project schedules using Asta Powerproject, ensuring close collaboration with various teams to meet project milestones and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Asta Powerproject.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to provide accurate timelines for bids and tenders.
• Regularly update schedules to reflect project progress and any changes.
• Liaise with internal departments (design, contracts, and site teams) to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Identify potential constraints early and recommend solutions to mitigate delays.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
• Assist in managing project risks, constraints, and scope changes.
• Ensure proper resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with the construction team.
• Participate in meetings and provide schedule-related updates to stakeholders.

About You:

• Proficient in using Asta Powerproject for project planning and scheduling.
• Previous experience in project planning within the construction industry, ideally with multistorey projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage project risks, constraints, and resource allocation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project delivery timelines.
