Chronos Energy are working with a leading force in the renewable energy sector, who acquire, develop, and implement large-scale infrastructure projects that revolutionise the energy landscape. The client are currently looking to recruit a Project Coordinator with strong business and operational administration skills.


The Project Coordinator will report to the Head of Operations and will work on the development and maintenance of systems, processes and procedures to ensure we meet all our obligations as well as supporting in the efficient operations of the financial and project management aspects of the Operations team. They will help to set up the business for growth by implementing ways of working to support the growing data and reporting requirements and ensure the company has best in class, formalised and documented processes to manage internal and external stakeholders including Group, auditors, regulators and internal teams (e.g. finance).

The role presents an opportunity for growth working in a dynamic start up environment where you have the opportunity to build and develop the role from scratch to influence business processes and systems implementation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Overall coordination of varying team activities
  • Setting up data and reporting processes for all operational business activity
  • Monitoring and managing the accreditations for the fleet of sites including liaison with Regulators, data collection, submission and participation in audits
  • Preparation of reports for cascade within the wider business and for external partners
  • Implementation and use of data management and reporting systems and acting as a key user to support other staff in use
  • Finance administration
  • Working with multiple business areas
  • Providing support to the Operations team with project coordination and organisation of works
  • Data gathering / analysis to feed into company reports
  • Support in the production of business cases
  • Support in the development and implementation of a UK HSSE management system
  • Meeting coordination and support
  • Pulling together key decisions/actions for Head of Operations to support decision making


Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience of setting up data and reporting processes, procedures and systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and data requirements of ROC’s, RHI etc
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSSE management systems (eg ISO 45001:2018) and previous experience of working within these accreditations
  • Ability to prioritise what matters and able to work well with people who do the same thing
  • Experience working with good company / project governance processes
  • Experience solving problems and coming to solutions that make the most sense commercially as well as technically
  • Experience in managing projects and organisation of team activities
