Whatyou'lldo

Asthe Head of Sanctions in Financial Crime Risk, you'll design thebank-wide Sanction's policy, making sure that they are reflectiveof relevant laws and regulations, while providing SME advice to ourbusiness to put in place operating procedures and controls to meetthe bank's and local policy requirements.

Alongsidewhich, you'll support and mentor your colleagues and oversee an effective approach towards development andtraining, succession planning and talent management.

Additionally,you'll:

  • Overseesanctions name screening and transaction filteringsystems
  • Make sure thatthe business addresses Sanctions risk concerns within themanagement of their customer, geographic and product portfoliolife-cycle
  • Representthe bank externally on Sanctions matters
  • Lead a team toundertake our complex sanctions investigations, buildingrelationships with the business, delivering advice on transactions,customers or situations that involve complex Sanctionsmatters

Theskills you'llneed

We're lookingfor someone with a deep Sanctions subject matterexpertise, along with a robust and broad understanding of riskmanagement principles and regulatory framework.

You'llneed technical expertise of relevant political and legislativedevelopments across the financial industry, with the ability toguide and influence business representatives on related matters.It's also crucial that you have the leadership skills to empowerteams to actively challenge how we dothings.
