Job Requirements/Description

The role has the option of remote working with the requirement to travel to our regional offices as needed, typically the Head office in Cambridge.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and test Workflows, Scripts and Forms in NetSuite that support the implementation of new processes and business change.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise for data-related systems integration projects across the company's business domain and specific to NetSuite.
  • Provide the rest of the team with support and subject matter expertise when gathering requirements
  • Support and advise the report writing and analytics data design that provides financial management information.
  • Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
  • Bundle and build release updates, moving configuration and code changes from Sandbox to Production.
  • Manage and control Sandbox updates from Production to maintain a valid test/development environment.
  • Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective updates and solution designs to optimise system performance and suitability to achieve defined business or process objectives.


NetSuite Administration:

Oversee and determine the best course of action regarding system configuration and incident resolution, for example, transactional issues, data rectification, and new object configuration (new: Accounts, Employees, classifications, etc).Support: Provide timely solutions and work around to BAU issues, for examples issues raised via the IT service desk.Project Management: taking high-level business requirements and running sessions and workshops with end users / stakeholders to capture detailed projected requirements needed for the execution and delivery of projects.End User Training / Guidance: Produce documentation and support materials for new functionality.Line Management: You will manage one of the IT Operations team members who provides Netsuite administration support, helping to develop their experience and knowledge



NetSuite Certifications:

  • Certified NetSuite Developer
  • Certified NetSuite Administrator and or Consultant background preferred
  • SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteBundler, SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript


Skills:

These should include:

  • Strong NetSuite Development experience, preferably in Professional Services Company
  • Hands-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customisation
  • Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements
  • Experience of Integration development to include JavaScript, SQL, SOAP, XML, JSON, and REST technologies
  • Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting
  • Proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting creating dashboards, creating custom forms and workflows
  • Experience on developing/managing Netsuite integration with other products such as HubSpot and MRI.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Flexibility in thinking and in attitude, with the ability to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • At least 3 years’ experience with the day-to-day technical management/development of the NetSuite platform required


Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development
