£75,000 - £85,000 + bonus + excellent benefits

Cyber Security Lead - Be a key member of a new Cyber Security Team - Join a successful business offering services to customers globally.

The Cyber Security Manager / Lead will ensure the company is protected from Cyber and Information security risks, comply with all relevant legislation, and follows security best practices. The Cyber Security Lead will be pivotal in adoption of best practice Cyber Security practices and processes to ensure the business is safeguarded from potential Risks. You’ll own the future security strategy across IT infrastructure, internal and customer-facing applications and tech-related tools and identify new requirements and areas for improvement as the business continues to expand.

Requirements

• Comfortable operating as the Security Technology Design Authority
• Strong Cloud Security knowledge, AWS or GCP preferred
• Experience of implementing Cyber and Information security standards such as NIST, MITRE, OWASP
• Up-to-date industry knowledge of current and future threats to business’ cyber security as well as mitigation and prevention strategies
• Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with various teams and departments including non-technical users and stakeholders

Desirables (but not essential):

• Relevant certifications, CTIA, CISSP or similar
• Experience in large-scale multi-site model business
• Prior commercial experience in a retail, marketplace or E-commerce environment

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for Visa sponsorship (now or in the future) and be able and willing to commute to Southampton twice a week.
