£60,000 base salary - £100,000 on target earnings

Our client is a well known commercial vehicle rental provider with a reputation for quality and the ability to offer a wide range of services to a diverse client base. Their hire fleet is made up of a wide range of commercial vehicles that includes trucks, vans, and specialized vehicles and they take great pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining their strong industry partnerships.

This is a brand new position created through growth as the headcount in a specialist division has grown significantly, and the hunting and farming disciplines are being separated.

The role:

You will be directly responsible for measuring, managing and driving the performance of the company's New Business sales team to deliver all objectives for revenue and growth, and to hunt for larger corporate opportunities.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a proven leader who can coach and inspire colleagues to perform at their very best, and who is commercially astute with strong sales and business acumen, great leadership, excellent managerial skills, outstanding strategic thinking, and the ability to identify prospective deals and new business opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to ensure prospecting activity and the creation of a quality, well qualified sales pipeline. You must have the skills to create, communicate and execute a sales plan that will ensure targets are delivered. You need to implement robust sales process and ensure that your salespeople can build a value proposition with prospects, that wins business.

You must be an excellent communicator, confident in defining strategies and budget plans and presenting these to senior stakeholders in our client's leadership team.
