Role: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Full-time, long-term (until the end of the academic year)
Pay Range: .00 per day (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people.
- Possession of a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to students in the classroom, assisting with tasks and activities as directed by the teacher.
- Working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources.
- Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities as required.
- Collaborating with teachers to assess student progress and development.
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement among students.
- Participating in school-wide activities and events as needed.
