Our client is looking for a Civil / Infrastructure Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician to join their thriving team.

They are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential or commercial design/drawing.

You would be responsible for designing and preparing detailed drawings in 2D and 3D, so would need to be familiar in software such as Civil3D, AutoCAD, PDS, Microdrainage/Flow. Confident with drainage design using Micro Drainage or Causeway Flow to develop fully compliant drainage systems including SuDS. You would be designing and preparing highways including vertical and horizontal alignments. You would also need to have knowledge of typical civils elements such as headwall details, retaining wall types, SuDS features, adoptable details etc.

You would need to have experience liaising with Statutory Authorities to resolve section approvals (S104, S38, S278) and experience writing reports for planning submission such as FRAs and Drainage Strategies (ideal but not essential). You would be required to attend technical meetings and be confident in communicating and co-ordinating with internal team and external clients. Our client is looking for the successful candidate to have Bachelor's degree (Engineer) or HNC/HND (technician).
