Altenburg Advisory is a specialist debt advisory-led corporate finance firm that provides a premium, whole of market debt advisory offering to owner-managed and private equity-owned businesses. We typically get involved where there is a requirement to finance change (for example acquisitions (initial and/or bolt-on), funding assets/loan books, shareholder change and growth-linked working capital), and where there is a debt requirement of £5m to £100m.
Altenburg Advisory started in 2019 and we have grown our senior-led team to 8 people and are looking for an ambitious, driven entrepreneurial candidate to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Execution
- Support the preparation of teasers, information memorandums, financial analysis, financial models and forecasts, and portfolio analysis on selected mandates
- Support discussions with funders, including assisting with Q&A
- Support the project management of mandates in order to meet deadlines agreed with clients
- Support the funder due diligence process by preparing online data rooms containing the key documents
- Assist with the review, modeling and comparison of term sheets
- Assist with the review of legal documentation to ensure commercial terms have been properly reflected
Origination
- Support the creation of pitch and proposal documents
- Support origination activity
- Build your own network of contacts
Marketing
- Support the marketing of the firm
- Support the continual development of relationships with new and existing lenders
- Attend events on behalf of Altenburg Advisory
Practice Development
- Support the development of 'best practice' documents to be used internally and externally
- Support the firm in staying abreast of developments in the market
Requirements
?The ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services (or similar), which will include working in debt advisory and / or financial diligence and / or having been through an analyst / associate training program at an advisory or financial institution
- Strong financial acumen and financial modelling skills
- A desire to work in an entrepreneurial and growing team
- Bachelor or Masters degree (or equivalent)
