As a Lead BMS Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility by developing advanced control algorithms and software for the company's Intelligent Software Layer, tailored for automotive and mobility applications.
What You'll Do:
- Spearhead software development and testing using the V-cycle methodology.
- Support industrialization efforts, including DV&PV test planning and EoL specifications.
- Design and implement cutting-edge control functions with a focus on serial production.
- Oversee documentation and manage software release cycles.
- Lead the design of new systems, software architecture, and requirement analysis.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in battery management controls and software development within the automotive sector, including physics-based battery modeling.
- Solid understanding of automotive software development (e.g., V-cycle, MISRA C/C++, AUTOSAR).
- Knowledge of ISO26262 Functional Safety and ASPICE processes.
- Expertise in Control Systems, including system identification, estimation theory (e.g., Kalman Filters), and model predictive control.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain.
