We now have an exciting opportunity for experienced Electrical Testers/Electrician s/Electrical improvers to join our expanding team in North London.
Eco Utility Solutions is an expanding division of Lura Construction and is successfully providing test & inspections services to a variety of clients, predominantly within local Council and housing association sectors.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of EICR s/electrical installations/remedials and maintenance in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction whilst working as a part of a new growing team.
The role is suitable for a well-rounded operatives who can carry out EICR's to domestic properties along with install/remedial works.
The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of electricians & improvers, ensuring high performance, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Completing Electrical Installation condition reports & certification. (Essential)
- Minor & remedial install works such a new lighting/sockets & smoke alarms.
- Reactive maintenance work.
- Full rewires.
- Domestic electrical works working on both occupied and void housing.
- Consumer unit upgrades.
- Working to strict timescales.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Working as part of a team and on their own initiative.
- Dealing with a wide range of people including administration staff & customers.

You will need to have (preferable but not limited to):
- 3 years Test and inspection experience including fault Finding.
- NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
- Domestic experience
- A valid ECS card (preferable)
- Valid full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proof of qualifications upon request

- Own van (not essential)
