Senior Engineer

Expleo are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer focused on supply chain management based in Essex on a contract basis. This position requires extensive collaboration with the special vehicle development team and end users to create proposals that meet their specific use case requirements. The role focuses on delivering industry-leading uptime and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Skills Required:

• Vehicle Parts Sourcing: Expertise in developing, implementing, and managing vehicle parts sourcing using both corporate and ad-hoc systems.
• Supplier Due Diligence: Proficient in performing due diligence for supplier sourcing, ensuring all suppliers adhere to Ford standards.
• Supply Chain Efficiency: Knowledgeable in setting up supply chain routes and collaborating with internal logistics to enhance efficiency.
• Stock Management: Capable of managing internal stock, ensuring accurate counts to support the build program.
• Supply Chain Improvement: Skilled in monitoring and developing roadmaps for supply chain improvements, and coaching the team through changes.
• Change Management: Responsible for managing the change process, ensuring zero obsolescence through transitions.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Liaise with Vehicle Plant-based MP&L and purchasing functions to ensure base vehicle changes are integrated within the Special Vehicle change management process.
