Generalist Compliance Associate 15month FTC (Mat Cover)

Maldon Partners are recruiting a Maternity Cover Generalist Compliance Associate on an initial 15 month FTC for an established Global Wealth and Investment Management firm based In London.

In order to apply for the role you must have generalist compliance experience gained within a Wealth Management firm and be immediately available to interview and start or on a short notice period.

Flexible / Hybrid working is on offer (3 days in the office)

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer the role holder will work in the wider compliance teams and will be responsible for a broad range of tasks.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist in the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme
• Periodic tasks (takeover panel, fund checks and market share)
• Regulatory horizon scanning (UK, EU and US)
• Alert Monitoring (review and clear all compliance related alerts)
• Provide general compliance advice to the business
• Attend and report to various committees
• Assist in the production of Management Information
• Updating policies and procedures
• Assist with compliance training

Experience Required:

• 3 years+ Generalist / Monitoring Compliance experience (not AML/KYC)
• At least 1 year of experience gained within a Wealth Management firm ESSENTIAL
• Excellent written and communication skills
• IMC or CISI Qualification DESIRABLE
• Immediately available or on a short notice period

Salary:

The Maternity Generalist Compliance Associate role has a base salary of c£55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience with an excellent benefits as well as hybrid working.
