About the HSE Manager job:
- Provide advice, guidance and support on all HSE matters across the site in order to comply with relevant legislation
- Take the lead in undertaking HSE and BCM audits and ensure creation and completion of action plans in line with company requirements
- Ensure site processes are met and adhered to relating to any statutory inspections by keeping up to date with Health & Safety legislations
- Develop and maintain risk assessments and SSOW whilst providing training and guidance
The right candidate:
- Proven experience within a similar HSE Management role
- NEBOSH National General Certificate Essential
- Ability to engage with stake holders, fellow managers and customers at all levels both face to face and over the phone
- Hands on and empathetic approach to resolving Health & Safety issues
- Previous H&S responsibilities within a target focus environment
