Role-Quotations/Sales Engineer (Fabrications)

Location- Manchester

Hours- Mon - Fri

Salary - Negotiable up to 43k starting rate + Benefits

Office based Quotations/Sales/Account Engineer required for a fast-paced manufacturing company, estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, materials and processes including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, Assembly together with obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations. Customer liaison regarding pricing / lead times and delivery schedules.

Main Responsibilities:

• Quoting metal work.
• Obtaining supplier quotations
• Prepare detailed quotes for submission to customers.
• Liaising with customers to attain their requirements.
• Liaising with production ref lead times/delivery schedule
• The candidate will be expected to follow up estimates, negotiate and secure orders.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Previous manufacturing estimation / costing experience essential.
• Exerience in the Fabrication/Sheet metal industry
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer literate, Microsoft office etc,
• Attention to detail a must.
