To manage development projects from concept to delivery and be the principal development contact for the projects both internally and externally.
To keep the NPD manager informed of project progress, highlight anticipated & actual issues as early in the process as possible.
To manage project progress and status monthly via the Launch Meeting, Trackers, and the C2L / Clarizen Process.
To be responsible for overseeing projects through the C2L/Clarizen system from brief to launch including maintenance of accurate & detailed project records.
To manage with the support from the R&D team development projects from concept to delivery and be the principal development contact for the projects both internally and externally.
To support, motivate and develop the NPD & GD Technologist and Technician effectively.
To provide support, technical expertise and mentoring to the NPD, purchasing, operational and commercial teams
Developing and reviewing the C2L/Clarizen process to ensure it meets the needs of the business and customers.
To liaise with the project leader/lead commercial/Clarizen Project Leader to agree timings for the development elements within the project plan and ensure that they are delivered to achieve the target launch date.
To monitor final product costs throughout C2L / Clarizen process and advise project team of any deviation and advising on corrective action as appropriate.
Evolve the R&D process that enables research of ingredients and process that will provide innovative and competitive advantage for the business.
To participate in the composition of factory operating procedures and QA measurements/standards for individual projects.
To ensure all new products are discussed with the technical team in relation to HACCP.
To participate in and where required lead cross-functional Project Teams as required.
To develop a method that identifies and recommend value engineering projects on existing products within the product categories.

Establish links with external bodies, suppliers, and individuals to advance BI-UK technical /
development expertise.
