Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Hlta)

HLTA required for a Primary School in Islington.

Classroom support are seeking a qualified HLTA for a Islington Primary School.

We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced HLTA for a long-term position for the right candidate. Supporting Early Years to KS2 classes mainly as PPA cover.

The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment with good Ofsted results.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is 105 - 110 per day depending on experience, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.

Requirements of the role are:

• Supporting the classroom Teacher preparing and planning daily resources and lessons.
• Marking students work on occasions.
• Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
• HLTA qualification preferred by not necessary.
• Experience covering lessons is a must.
• Fulfilling any required duties defined by the class teacher and being able to teach whole classes in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Be willing to work between various classes as required with weekly plans.
