Job Title: Director of Marketing

Location: Central London

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (could go up to £100,000 for exceptional experience)


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Commercial Head of Marketing to take ownership of our lead generation, marketing strategy, and brand placement.

This is a senior role requiring someone with a proven track record in executing marketing strategies that drive revenue and business growth.


The ideal candidate must balance strategic thinking with a willingness to "get their hands dirty" in the execution of marketing tasks. You will work closely with the existing Marketing function to align marketing activities with broader business goals.


This role is perfect for someone who is ready to step up into a more senior position or someone who can take full responsibility for revenue generation through marketing.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute marketing strategies focused on lead generation, converting leads into sales, and driving revenue growth.

• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Balance strategic marketing planning with day-to-day execution. Take full ownership of brand placement, sponsorships, and lead gen campaigns.

• Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead flow and optimize lead-to-sales conversions.

• Team Leadership: Manage a team, Provide clear direction and mentorship.

• CRM & Data Management: Oversee the company’s CRM strategy, including data cleansing, tagging, and lead management. Evaluate and improve current CRM practices to enhance lead tracking and reporting.

• Marketing Analytics & Reporting: Set up and maintain marketing reporting processes to track ROI and attribute at least one-third of the company's revenue to marketing activities.

• Budget Management: Work within a marketing budget but adapt this as needed to achieve marketing goals.

• Brand & Sponsorships: Ensure strong brand placement and manage sponsorship opportunities to enhance market presence.



Experience

At least 5-7 years in a senior marketing role with a strong focus on lead generation and conversion. You’ve worked in environments where marketing is directly tied to revenue outcomes.

• Hands-on Attitude: Must be willing to take a hands-on approach in executing campaigns and not just delegating tasks.

• Team Leadership: Experience managing a marketing team, with the ability to coach and mentor team members.

• CRM & Tools: Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Bullhorn or similar), and experience in optimizing CRM processes.

• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Proven ability to create and execute marketing strategies that deliver measurable revenue results.

• Analytical Skills: Must be able to provide evidence of past performance in lead generation, marketing attribution, and ROI tracking.
