TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND secondary school based in Manchester. The school is committed to safeguarding, welfare and child protection and plenty of support on further programmes and career progression for all working staff. This largely focuses on students that are undergoing on EHCP plans and working in supporting them to get the right support needed in line with the curriculum. Because the nature of the school, the class capacity is up to 11 students in order to make sure the support is available and delivery of the information.

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant with strong behavioural management skills, as you will be working with students aged 11 to 16, you will be working closely 1 to 1 in supporting students across all Key stage 3/ KS3 and Key stage 4/ KS4.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Level 3 relevant qualification
• Minimum one year experience in working with SEMH students or PRU setting
• Great behavioural management skills
