Our client is one of the country’s leading investment and asset management and are building out a new office location in Newcastle.

They’re building a new Data Engineering team to work across software technology and Front Office trading.

You’ll have the chance to develop, brand new, proprietary systems and data tools, drive automation as you see fit, create innovative analytics solutions and become a subject matter expert for the company.

Requirements:

• Excellent experience in a data specialist role and a passion for data
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
• Great understanding of software engineering and development
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do, attitude
• Excellent academic background – BSc / MSc from a leading university
