Senior Scientist - CRS

SRG is pleased to be partnering with an organisation involved in the development of human biomimetic platforms. Your will be responsible for driving and lead projects for external customers from aiding in the design of experiments, running complex in vitro organ-on-chip applications, performing assays and reporting the results to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Utilise OOC applications and protocols to deliver high quality projects to external customers.
  • Manage the project using project management tools.
  • Rigorous analysis and interpretation of experiments and presentation of data in numerous formats.
  • Maintain laboratory stocks and inventory management systems.
  • Ensure all experiments are correctly recorded and data integrity is maintained to a high standard.
  • Communicate progress, successes and challenges with CRS, the R&D team, commercial team and wider company when required.
  • Be the primary contact for customers during projects to update them on progress, present data and collaborate to design the best experiments to suit their needs.
  • Support and mentor junior team members and aid in the training of new team members, with line management responsibilities as the project grows.


Desired Experience:


  • PhD (or Equivalent) in biology, bioengineering or related subject with experience working in a regulated environment
  • Expertise in primary cell cultures and qPCR.
  • Experience mentoring, training and supporting other team members.
  • Experience on customer facing projects and liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in life sciences (Biotech, Pharma, Contract Research) with an understanding of working in a regulated environment
  • Experience in organ-on-a-chip or advanced primary cell culture methods.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and managing project timelines and resources.
