Development Manager - Residential



London Based



We are delighted to have been retained by a privately owned Developer focused on creating best-in-class Residential schemes in London and the Wider UK. Having recently raised a fund in order to further their acquisitions and UK presence.



The Role



They are looking to expand their London development team by appointing a Development Manager who will join their close-knit team as a key contributor and who will have an active role in leading some of their most exciting and challenging projects.

Every day will be different, this will be from delivering a scheme to handover, overseeing complex planning processes, leading procurement to assemble a best-in-class team, and running design team meetings.

What do you need to bring?



Evidence of a successful track record within the residential and/or BTR space of “high-rise” developments.


You need to have demonstrable delivery experience taking a scheme from planning to handover and completion.


Ownership of any potential risks, impacts on the programme, and ability to diffuse any challenges before they escalate reporting the challenge and proposed solution to your colleagues and the ExCo as soon as possible - every time!


You’ll need to have an unbeatable thirst for knowledge for the BTR space, and passion/ drive to match.


Everyone is an ambassador for the team, so you’ll need to be a social chameleon who has the ability to build relationships and reputation and the desire to lead/grow a team. Excellent problem-solving, prioritising, and negotiation skills are a must.
