PHP Developer

ADA is looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Developer to join an e-commerce retailer based near Wakefield.

You'll be a back-end web developer with experience in developing and maintaining new and existing systems in Laravel, who can work collaboratively as part of the web development team. The dev team is currently scaling and you will join a growing team who are looking to expand their project portfolio over the coming months.

You'll be working in a dedicated team of developers where progression and hard work are rewarded. This is a permanent position that offers a hybrid working pattern (3x per week in the office). Please note, that you must be able to travel to Wakefield.

An ideal candidate will have around 3 years of commercial experience with Laravel, and MySQL, and be in a commutable distance to Wakefield.

Essential skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP
• MVC frameworks: Laravel in particular
• MySQL or similar
• Building and consuming APIs
• Experience of using code versioning software e.g Git, SVN
• Interested in e-commerce and online retail sector
• Unit testing
• Experience working in a fast-paced working environment
