DevOps Engineer - Newcastle - £100K+

Our client is a fast growing hedge fund and are building out a new office location in Newcastle.

The DevOps team is focussed on minimising risk, driving efficiency and automation and supporting the development pipeline and production environment.

Working closely with Production, Engineering and Architecture teams DevOps is key for the evolution and scaling of their systems.

You’ll have the chance to own the continuous integration (CI) infrastructure, develop new, automated monitoring techniques and deliver end-user solutions.

Requirements:

• Infrastructure As Code experience - Ansible, Terraform etc
• Containerisation using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Software development experience (C#, Java, Python etc) – The ability to code
• Scripting experience (PowerShell etc)
• Excellent academic background ideally
