The School and Role
A specialist primary school in Wigan are looking for an SEMH Teacher dedicated to making a positive impact on the education and social skills of children with social, emotional and mental health needs. The SEMH Teacher role will involve implementing the National Curriculum at Key Stage 1 and 2 and responding to the pastoral needs of the pupils in a caring and empathetic manner. They have a supportive staff team who effectively share expertise, skills and knowledge and promote an ethos of disciplined behaviour to ensure effective learning. The school are open to teachers from a variety of curriculum subject backgrounds.
