Head of Information Technology

WRK digital is exclusively engaged to find an Head of Technology Systems. This prestigious retail client of ours requires a senior candidate to oversee all IT operations within the business from a retail support side through to implementing new systems and the IT strategy. The role will have one direct report.

This is a unique and exciting role which requires as much presence as possible in the office which is based in Skipton (not accessible via public transport, you will need a car). Family friendly flexibility to fit in with school runs etc! Ideally my client is hoping for the candidate to be onsite 5 days per week but this can be hybrid if required.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for business retail systems and processes. This expands out to the till EPOS systems in store and customer / sales data. You will understand how systems talk to one another and (with a retail hat on) how to make processes more efficient and effective.

You will have an ability to see the big picture and you must be commercially astute. You will be willing to roll your sleeves up and also get involved in printer issues, wifi, new user admin, phone systems. This is a small business so everyone gets involved in tasks to help get things over the line. You will be ambitious, focused, hard working and friendly! The team is close knit and really look after one another.
