Job Overview:


A leading global financial services firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Investment Solutions Architect to join their growing Investment Solutions team. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in investment management and asset management, with a focus on creating bespoke, strategic solutions for institutional clients. The successful candidate will work closely with global clients, delivering innovative, data-driven investment strategies while providing architectural leadership across key portfolios. The role will involve direct client engagement, portfolio oversight, and long-term strategic direction.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Investment Strategy Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated, strategic investment solutions across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives, aligning with institutional client objectives.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Architect and oversee institutional client portfolios, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management with a focus on long-term performance.
  • Custom Solutions for Institutional Clients: Work closely with large institutional clients (e.g., pension funds, sovereign wealth funds) to create bespoke investment strategies that meet their specific needs.
  • Technology and Data Analytics Integration: Leverage advanced data analytics, quantitative models, and technology platforms to enhance portfolio architecture and decision-making processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Ensure all investment strategies comply with global regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, UCITS, and AIFMD, while maintaining robust risk management and compliance practices.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and external clients, ensuring that investment strategies align with client objectives and the organization's long-term goals.
  • Global Markets Expertise: Provide leadership and expertise on investment opportunities across global markets, including Europe, Asia, and North America, and manage complex multi-asset strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of analysts and portfolio managers, driving performance and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class solutions.
  • ESG and Sustainable Investing: Drive the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the investment architecture, reflecting the firm’s commitment to responsible investing.



Key Skills and Experience:



  • Deep experience in investment and asset management, with a strong focus on institutional clients and architecting bespoke solutions.
  • Proven track record in portfolio management, asset allocation, and the design of investment strategies for large-scale clients.
  • Strong experience with data-driven investment platforms, such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, or other advanced analytics tools.
  • Regulatory expertise in global markets, with deep knowledge of frameworks like MiFID II, UCITS, and AIFMD.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • CFA certification or equivalent (e.g., FRM, CAIA) is highly preferred.
  • Strong client management and communication skills, with experience working with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional clients.
  • Global investment experience, particularly in Europe, North America, and Asia, with the ability to navigate complex market environments.
  • Experience in ESG and sustainable investing is an advantage.
