Development Manager, London
The Company
A Property Development business with a focus on mixed use regeneration, including strategic land, commercial and residential schemes across the South of England.
The Role
- Support and assist Development Directors in managing existing projects at various development stages
- Identify, appraise, secure and deliver suitable development opportunities
- Work on all elements of the new and current schemes including land sale, contract negotiation, appraisals, planning, feasibility, delivery and handover
- Support projects from the design, planning and construction phases from inception to completion
- Add value through design and planning stages
- Negotiate with potential commercial tenants covering retail, industrial, leisure and office sectors
- Run development appraisals ensuring profitable residential and commercial schemes;
- Liaise with members of the public, JV partners, investors and other stakeholders.
The Person
- Experience in a Development Manager's role as a principal or an equivalent position in a development consultancy environment.
- Able to demonstrate a successful track record in contributing to the delivery of complex projects – specific involvement with residential and/or commercial lead mixed-use developments is preferred.
- Preferred MRICS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
