Job Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Stockport. This role is starting in September 2024 until at least Christmas in the first instance.

As a teacher of Maths you'll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary English
• To deliver English lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
• Experience: Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level is preferred, though highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for sports.
