Adjacency Recruitment are proud to be exclusively partnering a longstanding client, based in the Education sector, in the recruitment of a Senior Human Resources Advisor.


Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing and delivering a class leading service, covering all aspects of Human Resources, including leading on organisation change management, employee relations, recruitment processes and developing & delivering HR policies and procedures to a diverse stakeholder group. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering training to managers and other key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build effective working relationships with people across the business, providing advice and guidance on the HR policies and HR related issues throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Advise on restructuring including advising and supporting senior leaders through a consultation process. Preparing documentation for restructures including advise on job descriptions, TUPE and recruitment activities.
  • Research and recommend new initiatives and provide administrative support to deliver these e.g. wellbeing, training.
  • Support the recruitment of new employees covering all aspects from authorisation, advertising, working with agencies, job offers and onboarding.
  • Provide support / guidance to Managers on all ER cases.Delivering successful end-to-end management of employee relations caseload, advising on cases at all levels of complexity.
  • Update the staff database and TUPE list, ensure correct employee details are inputted for monthly reports and audit purposes.
  • Support managers with occupational health referral processes and associated welfare meetings.
  • Process paperwork for new starters, leavers, sickness, salary changes etc.
  • Proactively ensure quality procedures and guidelines are followed to ensure quality objectives are met.
