Job Title: D365 Solution Developer
Location: Hybrid - Office and Home-based
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: Up to £75k + benefits (DOE)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced D365 CE Solution Developer to contribute technical expertise to a variety of D365 projects and product development initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with the wider D365 team to support pre-sales and project implementation services. Additionally, you will work closely with the Product Manager to help shape and implement the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales, marketing, and consultancy teams to facilitate the sales and delivery of D365 solutions.
- Define and document product development roadmaps accurately.
- Architect and deliver D365 solutions based on product development roadmaps, adhering to company Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Quality Standards.
- Complete unit testing and create repeatable testing frameworks to ensure product quality.
- Translate customer requirements into functional D365 Applications and Power Platform-based solutions, producing supporting documentation such as technical specifications, test scripts, and user guides.
- Map functional specifications to technical solutions, coding in line with delivery deadlines and internal development guidelines.
- Mentor team members, providing insights into D365 and Power Platform development techniques.
- Occasional travel to customer sites across the UK may be required.
Person Specification:
- Microsoft Partner experience- desirable.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with Non-Profit (NFP) clients is desirable.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and disciplines related to D365-based system delivery, including installation, configuration, and solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of D365 Modern UI development frameworks, Common Data Service, Power Platform, and JavaScript for D365 Extensions.
- Experience working with various D365 applications, including sales, marketing, customer service functionalities, and portals setup.
