Nationally recognised Consultancy who operate in the UK and Ireland across the Water & Environment, Transportation & Infrastructure markets.

This role is a hybrid working opportunity, based out of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The Role & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the Water & Environment, Transportation & Infrastructure industries, who have a strong pipeline of both current and upcoming projects across their Ecology practice.

My client is looking for a highly motivated professional, who has a demonstrable experience in Ecology to join their growing team.

• As the Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for the delivery of ecological solutions.
• Utilise your experience of a wide variety of surveys including bat surveys, mammal surveys and phase 1 habitat surveys.
• Undertake the creation of planning & marine applications.
• Meet project deadlines as well as meeting internal and external client expectations and standards.
• Undertake visits to the field to partake in field surveys and assessments as well as research and analysis across wide variety of projects.
• Work closely with senior directors and support functions across business development identification and opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff within the team across different projects and project types

Requirements\Qualifications

• Degree Level Qualifications in a Ecological Related Subject.
• CIEEM Qualification or Similar.
• Full Driving License.
• Ability to use field software applications including GIS & MS Office.
• Demonstrable knowledge of both current UK and Irish legislation and policies
