Civil Design Engineer

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis.

Must be UK Personnel

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical and feasibility studies by analysing maps, survey reports, and plans to design cutting-edge civil engineering projects.
• Determine construction costs, adhere to local regulations, assess environmental impacts, and factor in other crucial elements for project success.
• Carry out thorough environmental impact assessments and identify potential risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Utilize engineering software like MATLAB and AutoCAD to create detailed project blueprints.
• Work closely with structural and piping engineers, as well as clients, to bring projects to life.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, local, and legal regulations, including health and safety protocols on-site.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Civil Designer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional team building and collaboration skills.
