Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive - Head of Department – 2 year PQE+

Position: Head of Department – Commercial Litigation

Experience: Minimum 2 years PQE

My client is seeking a talented and driven 2+ PQE commercial litigation solicitor to head our clients new Commercial Litigation Department in Luton. This role offers a unique chance to lead and develop a new team with a ready flow of work and cases to manage.

The team will handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, such as conflicts between shareholders and directors, partnership disagreements, commercial fraud cases, and contract-related disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and establish a new Commercial Litigation Department, setting strategy and vision.
• Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder issues, and debt recovery claims.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff within the department.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's reputation in the commercial litigation sector.

The Candidate:

• At least 2 years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Strong case management skills with a proven track record of handling a broad range of commercial disputes.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to build and develop a new team.
• Ability to provide a proactive approach to expand the department through business development
