Salary: £34,000+ per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

The Role
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Account Manager to support our Account Managers in maintaining and growing client relationships. You will assist with order coordination, client communications, and administrative tasks, ensuring that client needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Support Account Managers in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Order Coordination: Assist in processing orders and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Client Queries: Handle day-to-day client enquiries and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account performance and client feedback.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of HG Walter’s products to support client needs.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales proposals and presentations.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
The Candidate
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service, sales support, or account management role.
- Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Experience in the food industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Personality: Self-starter, adaptable, and a team player with a passion for food.
