Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure students of all abilities make excellent progress.
- Encourage a love for Physics and support students in their understanding of key scientific concepts.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and assessment materials in the Science department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching across the department.
- Support the school's ethos of high expectations and a culture of respect and achievement.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Physics or a closely related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics.
- Experience teaching Physics up to Key Stage 4 is essential, Key Stage 5 experience is desirable.
- Commitment to raising standards and achieving the best possible outcomes for all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities or school initiatives.
