Head of Compliance & Operations – Insurance

Arthur are partnered with an international insurance broker on the retail arm who are seeking a Head of Compliance & Operations in a newly created role. This reports into the COO and will be responsible for compliance and operational matters for the business including advisory and stakeholder management. An exciting and unique opportunity for a hands on compliance professional to develop and own a Compliance department.

Main duties:

• Advise key stakeholder and c-suite on compliance/regulatory matters
• Provide continued improvement for the compliance frameworks
• Strong focus on consumer duty
• Interpret and deliver regulatory updates inline with the FCA

Experience/qualification:

• Extensive experience within a generalist compliance role in insurance (broker or carrier).
• Experience with internal audit and/or operational risk is desirable but not essential.
• Strong conduct experience, in particular consumer duty is essential.
• Exposure to MOBI is highly advantageous.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000

Some travel required, all expenses paid. 2 days per week in the office, flexible.
