The Role

The Supply Register is currently working alongside Ark Franklin Primary Academy to find a Year 4 teacher to join the school ASAP, this role is a Maternity cover until the end of the academic year.

The School

Ark Franklin Primary Academy is a 3-form entry school serving a diverse population in Kensal Rise. They make no secret of the high expectations they have for every pupil and aim to provide each child with the highest standards of education possible. The nursery holds 65 children, led by a qualified teacher and a team of experienced support staff. Offering both full-time and part-time places in order to meet the needs of the local parent community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead insightful, varied and inclusive lessons
• Liaise with support staff regarding students who need additional support
• Track student progress and adjust any targets as needed
• Provide students with feedback regarding their progress
• Ensure pupil safety both inside and outside of the classroom

Requirements

• Previous experience as a qualified teacher is essential
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
