Health & Safety Advisor

Allen & York are delighted to be working with one of the South East's busiest airports as they look to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join their established Health & Safety Team. The airport goes from strength to strength and so this represents a unique opportunity to be involved in a diverse and challenging environment.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for Health & Safety across a part of the airport associated with the commercial aspects of the organisation including property, FM and retail. Some of the responsibilities will include working closely with stakeholders across the site to ensure compliance for the airport, liaise with external authorities as required and create strong working relationships to ensure that safety remains a high priority.

Working as part of team this busy role will provide experience for any candidates wishing to broaden their horizons as airports provide some of the most stimulating and diverse environments to work and test your skills in, so candidates will need a positive and proactive attitude to face challenges head on.

Based in Bedfordshire candidates will need to be able to be on site, most likely, a minimum of 5 days a week with occasional hybrid working.

Candidates should have experience ideally in an FM or commercial property environment but more importantly is the right attitude and a positive outlook to utilise your existing experience in a diverse and complex environment.

It is expected that candidates are working towards a NEBOSH Diploma but if you have your NEBOSH Certificate currently with a demonstrable track record working in a commercial setting then this could be the next step for you in your career.
