Process Safety Lead

Techniche Global are supporting metal industry supplier to appoint a Process Safety Engineer. This is an exciting role where the incumbent will act as the subject matter expert and technical authority across CNR on matters pertaining to process safety management and related risks.

Salary: £48- £50k per annum + excellent benefits
Location: Swansea- 100% onsite
Duration: perm/ full-time

You ll be responsible for the production and processing improvement. This role will identify problems, issues, and concerns to eliminate risks through inspection of facilities, engineering review of machinery and processes, and look at ways to identify and correct potential risks as well as ensure safety regulation compliance.
Desirable skills and experience:

• Experience working at COMAH site, or similar highly regulated, hazardous site.
• Experience in facilitating PHA processes such as HAZOP, BOW-TIE, HAZ-ID, LOPA.
• Good knowledge and experience in Functional Safety and DSEAR.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
