Assessment Manager

Brightsmith is partnering with an innovative company dedicated to advancing restoration and conservation efforts through the use of advanced technology and nature credits. They are seeking a dynamic and driven Assessment Manager, focused on advancing cutting-edge carbon projects from inception through to certification. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Assessment Associates and Analysts. Organise the sequence of assessment tasks to enhance efficiency. Provide guidance on assessment criteria and content requirements. Review and critique assessment reports to ensure clarity, relevance, and thoroughness. Maintain an integrated view of multiple ongoing projects. Ensure the team shares a cohesive understanding of project goals and progress. Present assessments and project updates to the Assessment Committee. Experience: Proven success in delivering data-driven evaluations in complex environments, with specific experience in Nature-Based Solutions. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to oversee assessments across the project pipeline. Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying and addressing gaps in assessments. Demonstrated expertise in coaching teams on data-driven assessment techniques and iterative analytics. Ability to provide clear structure and direction for assessments. Superior communication skills. Motivated by a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to making a significant impact. Enthusiastic about collaborating in a global, remote team and adept at functioning within diverse cultural settings. This is a full time position. Location: UK, fully remote.
