Role Description

This is a new full-time hybrid role. The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for managing training and development initiatives, overseeing the learning management system, designing instructional programs, and fostering leadership development within the organisation.


The successful candidate will develop new courses and review and update existing courses with the support of a team of SMEs and a team of Course Developers. The role will involve developing relationships with SMEs and also with stakeholders within the social care sector and providing support to the sales and account management teams in order to grow the client base. The role requires a thorough understanding of Learning and Development requirements in the Social care sector.


CareTutor is also looking to become an approved training centre to deliver Apprenticeships, Diplomas and other recognised qualifications in Social Care and the Learning and Development Manager will have responsibility to manage the process of becoming approved and delivering successful training programmes using our eLearning course content and recruiting and managing a growing network of Assessors who will assist in the delivery of these qualifications.


Qualifications

  • Training & Development, Learning Management, and Training skills.
  • Instructional Design expertise.
  • Leadership Development capabilities.
  • Experience in creating engaging and effective learning programs.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant certification or qualification in Learning and Development field.
  • Knowledge of the Social Care Sector is essential.
  • Experience of working in a Learning and Development role for a large care organisation would be an advantage.
