Forklift Operative

My well-known client based in Stevenage are currently looking for Forklift Operative's to join their team, on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a great opportunity to work for a highly established business, with the potential of a long-standing career.

The hourly rate for this role is £12.00 per hour.

The working hours for this position are on 5 days on, 3 days off basis, where the shifts are 2pm-10pm

Duties as a Forklift Operative:

• Receiving goods, to be correctly stored within the Warehouse
• Loading goods onto lorries and vans, readied to be dispatched
• Checking off orders as they come and go
• Daily forklift checks
• Preparing stock to be dispatched, including pallet wrapping
• Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
• Debriefing with drivers

What's needed as a Forklift Operative:

• Counterbalance Forklift License
• Ideally available immediately
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy items
• Happy to work without the Forklift (feet on the floor)
• Happy to work evenings and weekends
• Able to work within a team and individually
• Flexible
