CAD Designer (Roofing/Cladding)

CAD Designer - Permanent Role - Rochester (ME2)

Our client, a subcontractor who specialise in roofing/cladding projects, are looking for a CAD Designer to join their team based out of their head office in Rochester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings for construction, and industrial projects.
• Generate profile drawings for CNC cutting.
• Create detailed workshop manufacturing drawings.
• Develop concept drawings for tenders and client presentations.
• Responsible for ordering fabricated frames from our suppliers as well as all glass and flashing's.
• Perform material take-offs and prepare material lists for pricing and procurement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the roofing/cladding sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction, and industrial drawing standards.

• Experience in creating CNC profile drawings and workshop manufacturing drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
